THE PERFECT WAY TO
FAKE IT
Before you start – we recommend applying self-tanner in the evening. Why? Because you want to avoid using any other skincare and makeup product, as well as UV exposure right after the application of your self-tanner.

CLEANSE
Gently cleanse your face to remove all impurities and makeup. If your skin is dry, delicate or mature, go for the Melting Cleansing Oil, Cleansing Milk or Micellar Water. If you have normal, combination or problem-prone skin, use the Purifying Foam.

EXFOLIATE
Remove dead cells to achieve the smoothest, most even tan. Don’t forget your neck and décolleté. If your skin is dry, delicate or mature, apply the AHA Peel Mask for 3–10 minutes. For normal and/or problem-prone skin, we recommend the AHA Peel Mask, followed by our Oil-to-Milk Scrub. Don’t use the scrub if you have acute acne breakouts or any kind of inflammation.

BALANCE THE PH
Balance the pH with a toner. For dry, delicate, mature skin: Comforting Toner or Infinity Mist Probiotic Essence. For normal, problem-prone skin: Clarifying Toner. Secret Tip: this toner will help to shrink the pores for a perfectly even result.

MOISTURISE
Make sure your skin is properly hydrated – this will help your self-tanner spread better for perfectly even results. After applying your moisturiser, let the skin rest for 30–60 minutes.
Dry, delicate, mature skin: SOS Hydra Recharge Cream or TIME MIRACLE Total Renewal Night Cream. Normal, problem-prone skin: Deep Moisture Fluid or Regenerating Night Cream.

PROTECT YOUR BROWS
Protect your brows and hairline by applying a richer cream to avoid browning in these areas. Our choice: Daily Defence Ultra Rich Balm, rich day cream or hand cream.

FAKE IT
Apply the Fake It Healthy Glow Self-Tan Serum all over the face, neck and décolleté in gentle sweeping motions. Wash your hands thoroughly. Clean the brows with a cotton swab to avoid excess browning. In the case that you have any darker pigmentation spots, remove the self-tanner from them with a cotton swab, so that they don’t get darker.
Let the serum absorb for at least 15 minutes. Don’t apply any other skincare product, avoid rubbing or splashing water, as this might create spots. Get a good night’s sleep! Your tan will appear in 4–6 hours.
To intensify your tan, reapply the self-tanner 24 h after the first application. You can skip the exfoliation step this time!

KEEP YOUR GLOW
Make your sunless tan last for longer, using extra moisturisers to keep your skin hydrated – apply the SOS Instant Moisture+Radiance Hydra Mask twice a week. Don’t forget about sunscreen. Reapply the Fake It Healthy Glow Self-Tan Serum as your tan starts to fade – repeat the whole routine.
