WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE DESTINATION AND WHY?

I have been travelling a lot recently but can't name just one favourite destination. Myanmar impressed me with its beauty and amazing people, but the Scandinavian countries will always have my heart. The beautiful nature over there, and the sophisticated, clean style of the people living there still inspire me.

HOW DO YOU PREPARE YOUR SKIN FOR A DAY IN THE SUN?

I have a kind of love/hate relationship with the sun. My pale skin easily gets sunburned. Recently I got introduced to MADARA’s natural SPF face cream, which perfectly moisturises my skin and prevents it from getting sunburned. Thereby, the thought of putting natural minerals on your skin, makes you never want to use any damaging products again!

WHAT’S YOUR MORNING ROUTINE LIKE?

When I get out of bed, I first drink a large glass of (coconut) water. Then I wash my face under the shower and moisturise it immediately afterwards to prevent my skin from getting too dry. I am not a makeup kind of person but do like to add some extra glow or lipstick sometimes.

DO YOU HAVE A BEAUTY OR SKINCARE MANTRA YOU’RE FOLLOWING RELIGIOUSLY?

Actually not. I have always wanted to create my own skincare mantra, but do not set these "rules" for myself. Thinking about it, maybe it is better to be not so strict for yourself when it comes to your skin but give it some extra love when needed.

YOU ARE A VERY CREATIVE PERSON. HOW DO YOU KEEP THAT INSPIRATION FLOWING?

I get my inspiration from the street and while travelling. I love to "observe" people and get inspired by their outfits. Also, clean architecture and lovely concept stores give me that extra inspiration. And when I have my days at home, I love to scroll through Pinterest! It is the best way to start your Sunday mornings. :)

WE LOVE YOUR STYLE! HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE IT?

Thank you! I would describe my style as Scandinavian inspired. Not too clean, not too statement-ish. Very basic at times, I can wear sweaters and jeans every day, but like to add some fashion to keep myself inspired.

YOU PAY A LOT OF ATTENTION TO CONSCIOUS LIFESTYLE. WHY DO YOU FIND THAT IMPORTANT?

I started to eat vegan four years ago. I had some health issues, and this way of eating made me feel a lot better! When doing more research into this lifestyle, I started to become more aware of the environment and the how we are currently using it is kind of shocking. I try my best to contribute to make the world a better place. One step at the time!
